I thought I would make a list of 20 of the cheapest healthy food that you can get. This is an excellent start to lowering your food budget.
Here’s the thing, you are going to be focusing on unpackaged foods. And for a good reason or two. Packaged foods – anything that comes in a package, bag, or box, usually have additives and sugars added to them to improve taste.
As you know, sugars and refined carbs are the usual culprit to expanding waistlines.

Real Life Popeye is Arm Wrestling Champion
When we think about that spinach eatin’ Popeye… we can visualize his over sized left arm and puny right arm…
Well, let me introduce you to Matthias Schlitte, a German arm wrestling champion… his right arm is huge when compared to his ordinary sized left arm. And no… it isn’t a photo-shopped picture…

It’s real. I’m pretty sure it is genetics… and it is definitely rare… and I’m glad he made something of it… I can see how he can use that huge arm to his advantage in the arm wrestling competition weight classes…

Overcoming Fat Loss is Very Simple But Damn Hard to Do
Excuse my “French” in the title… but I wanted to catch your eye and make an emphatic point that the right information to lose your fat is available and it is pretty simple to follow…
But it is really, really hard to do!!
And that’s for sure! Let me tell you a little bit about a NBA basketball player by the name of Michael Sweetney… he has battled weight issues…
NBA fans of the New York Knicks and Chicago Bulls are probably familiar with this guy…
You see, he was the 9th overall draft pick in the 2003 NBA draft… by the New York Knicks. Michael was 6′ 8″ and about 270 pounds. He played for New York for two years… sporadically… and then was traded to the Chicago Bulls for… Eddy Curry… another overweight basketball player (sigh).
For some reason, the Chicago Bulls decided not to re-sign Michael Sweetney in 2006… and Michael dropped off the map for the past three years. Rumor was that Michael was told if he didn’t lose weight, his NBA career would be in jeopardy.
And all of a sudden at the Boston Celtics summer camp earlier this year… we see Michael Sweetney playing for the Celtics… and although he has even gained MORE weight. But I could see that he has basketball skills. He is a good rebounder… he has a nice offensive game. And his best attributes was his soft hands. But I’m sure his weight ballooned up above 350 pounds… (see picture below)

Diet is Much More Important than Exercise for Belly Fat Loss
According to this interesting article from ABC News… 80% of what you eat is how your belly is going to look. I have spoken with Vince DelMonte and he says 90%. But it is just a matter of a few percentage points.
This is why I think most people have it wrong what they think it takes to lose belly fat and get a toned and fit body… most folks think that the latest and greatest exercises is going to do it for them…
So they waste a lot of time and energy… practically living in the gym… working their butts off… and predictably… having nothing to show for their tremendous efforts.

Don’t Wait Until You Get a Heart Attack Before Losing the Fat
I thought I’d talk about some real life examples of why it is so important to be fit and lean…
I noticed that the General Manager for the Boston Celtics, Danny Ainge suffered from a heart attack earlier this year… and he is only 50 years old!
And not only that… he used to be an elite NBA basketball player… he was a combo guard that had to be quick and durable. And sadly, when he retired from his athletic pursuits… he let everything else go… and it isn’t just him… when 65% of American Adults are either overweight or obese… it means a lot of people did the same thing as Danny…

It’s getting worse… much worse…
I have been reading the latest statistics about America’s obesity epidemic with alarm…
You see, American’s are getting more and more dangerously overweight today…
The National Center for Health statistics said that about 31% of the Adult population for America is obese now…
And a combined 63% of the American adults are either overweight or obese! Anyone who is lean with muscle is now a MINORITY!
This is simply dreadful… not only it is dangerous to your overall health… human beings were NOT designed to carry so much excess fat.

What is the Healthiest Foods on Earth?
That would be whole foods made with a minimum of processing…
In short, if it comes in a can, bottle, bag or wrapper… chances are it is fattening and unhealthy for you.
But don’t take my word for it… you can see that an published author that is also a health expert, say the same thing on Forbes magazine that whole foods made with a minimum of processing is the healthiest foods on Earth.
My favorites are raw nuts, berries, apples, oranges, pears, Quinoa, and grass fed beef.
This is truly the breakfast and meals of champions!!

Every time we wait at the check out line in the grocery stores… we are treated to the magazine stands full of celebrities magazines, news magazines, junk magazines and…. woman’s health magazine.
But weight… there’s more!
OK. OK. I love puns and I’m so sorry I tried it on you my dear readers…
But the chances are of me doing it again… wait for it… pretty thin!

Let get back to the subject of women’s health magazines. Those are just foisted on the unsuspecting population… And they always have a pretty woman on the front cover… that is just smiling and enjoying her new “thin” body.

My Favorite Body Weight Workout Plan
I’m giving you one of my favorite body weight workouts plans today! The reason I love it is because it gives my functional strength without the pain that you usually get with isolation workouts with weights and machines at the gym.
Again, body weight workouts are superior to other types of workouts because your major muscle groups are working together the way it is designed to do…
And the idea that you can isolate and grow specific muscles is nothing more than a pipe dream of muscle building magazines…
Most competitive bodybuilders will tell you the BEST workouts with weights are the ones that employ major muscle groups… such as squats…
Another reason why I love this body weight workout plans is because it is generally pretty quick and effective… you work out your body… and you are done. No need to live in the gym…
