My Favorite Body Weight Workout Plan
I’m giving you one of my favorite body weight workouts plans today! The reason I love it is because it gives my functional strength without the pain that you usually get with isolation workouts with weights and machines at the gym.
Again, body weight workouts are superior to other types of workouts because your major muscle groups are working together the way it is designed to do…
And the idea that you can isolate and grow specific muscles is nothing more than a pipe dream of muscle building magazines…
Most competitive bodybuilders will tell you the BEST workouts with weights are the ones that employ major muscle groups… such as squats…
Another reason why I love this body weight workout plans is because it is generally pretty quick and effective… you work out your body… and you are done. No need to live in the gym…
So I’m gonna call this one Body Weight Workout Plans #1:
Set 1:
- 20 Decline Pushups
- 20 Tricep Dips
- 20 Stick Ups
- 20 Prisoner’s Squats
- 10 Stability Ball Rollouts
- 10 Dive Bombers Pushups
Ideally, you should repeat this set two more times with a couple of minutes of rest. But if you are just starting out… I suggest that you ONLY do one set the first day… and then you can increase it later on as your body gets acclimated to a more intense workout. Remember… safety first!!
After you finished this workout… do your favorite cardio workouts for 30 minutes. Mine is just walking fast around the block for a couple of miles.
Also, you shouldn’t do this workout more than two weeks… because by then your body will get used to it and the workout will get boring… so what you should do is rotate the body weight workout plans every 2 weeks. I will be giving you more workout plans later on…

And why is diet so important? Well, first of all, when I say diet… I am definitely NOT talking about eating grass or broccoli every day…
That sucks and it won’t work anyways…
But the most important thing you can do… even more important than a great workout… is eating right to lose body fat.
As the saying goes you cannot out-train a lousy diet.
Think about that… it is very easy to eat a 1000 calorie lunch or dinner… and it will take you literally hours to work off that many calories…
In short, it is a losing game for anyone who is playing it…
So the ultimate trick to losing body fat and KEEPING IT OFF is to follow the correct diet plus a moderate workout program.
