The Real Truth About Ab Equipments (Psst! They Don’t Work!)
You are going to see tons of info commercials and magazine ads talking up a storm about the latest thigh reducing machine or ab equipments that will give you flat and toned abs instantly… like magic… or is it?
And the worst thing of all? Using sleek and muscular couple to demonstrate the exercise equipment which leads us to think that this equipment actually gave them the body they have…
What BS!!
First of all, abs are made in the kitchen… more than anything… did you know that probably up to 90% of your total fat loss will be due to how you manage your diet?
And not only that… it leaves 10% to exercise… but if you do the wrong kinds of exercise… it will be like that hamster running on that wheel… endlessly and with no point at all.
Let me explain…
First of all, most if not all exercise machines that are designed to give you a spot workout on a particular part of the body that you want to reduce… don’t work at all…
And why? Why can’t you spot reduce a problem area? Well, it is probably because your body is way smarter than anyone who believes that garbage… you see, when you lose body fat… you lose proportionally all across your body. It would simply be absurd to expect that you can get a six pack abs just by focusing on the midsection and still have “fatty” arms.
I mean, have you EVER seen someone walking along with a six pack abs and flabby arms, chest and legs?
I can tell you right now with 110% confidence… “NO, YOU HAVEN’T!!”
And if you understand my point above… you will never, EVER waste your money on those ab equipment and other machines again in your life. In my opinion… if you do get those exercise machines… you will be virtually guaranteed with a lighter wallet… and no results. And the only person making out like a bandit are the marketers that sold you the exercise equipment in the first place…
Now it is true that you can tone and tighten your muscle… but the fat that is in that area… isn’t going away. Do do that… you are going to have to understand and make an effort to be disciplined with your diet.
And by diet… I don’t mean eating grass and broccoli… hell no!
On a side note, I tried eating a lot of broccoli for several months… and while I did see some results.. I hated broccoli so much that I haven’t eaten one sprig in over a year…
So keep that in mind… moderation is OK… but don’t go overboard… and no… eating grass and broccoli isn’t necessary to lose body fat.
But let’s not ignore exercises… proper exercises… doing it right should grow your muscles… which uses more energy than fat… and will burn up more fat… provided you are eating properly… otherwise, your muscles will just get all it needs from your diet — refined sugars… and you won’t get any slimmer… and in fact, if you eat so much of refined sugars… you will most likely get fatter…
It is a vicious cycle that many adults have fallen into… and they just get fatter and fatter… and surveys and studies have shown an obvious trend of adults getting more overweight each year…
And again why? Simply the major culprit is the western diet of refined sugars and saturated fats.
In layman’s terms… refined sugars is grains and sugars. These items are found in just about everything that isn’t whole foods. In short… anything that you are eating from that comes in a bottle, can or package… is probably full of refined sugars that make you fat.
Yikes!!
So what can you do about it? Well, educate yourself what you eat that won’t add fat to your body… and follow a moderate exercise program to simulate your muscle growth.

And forget about that ab equipments and other machines… they don’t work and never have.
