Rising Rate of Obesity…

Oh man! I just read this article based on a recent Federal government report (National Center for Health Statistics) that says the number of U.S. adults who are obese is now higher than the number of just overweight adults!

This is just shocking to me… 34% or 72 MILLION adults are now obese in America. And another 32.7% of the adults are just overweight.

This report concluded that U.S. is not the only country facing this obesity and overweight epidemic.

I don’t know about you but I am just overblown away by the numbers. How can so many smart adults find themselves in this situation? Because I sure know they DON’T want to be overweight or obese!

And one of my hobbies is figuring out ways to reduce the crappy foods that I consume and be sure to workout five days a week.

Just about every single fat loss expert that I have spoken with or interviewed all agree on the same thing… that 90% of your total fat loss will come from your diet.

But diet, I do not mean eat grass and starve yourself to death. (By the way, following that diet is plain stupid and will never work).

The best diet you want is the one in which you follow what our hunter and gatherers ancestors did up to 5,000 years ago. Before they figured out how to domesticate animals and farm the lands. And believe me, these hunters and gatherers were 100% lean! They ate meat, fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds and berries. They did NOT eat breads and refined sugars which are the main culprit of our obesity problems!

And for exercises? I recommend that you follow a FULL body workout. Just 45-30 minutes each day and no more than 5 days a week.

Do both of these things and you WILL lose fat. And you won’t have to spend a lot of money on useless supplements or ab machines.

Good luck. Let’s lick this obesity epidemic onces and for all…

As always, if you are making changes to your diet or exercise regimen… you should seek medical advice from your doctor before starting… especially if you have been living a sedentary lifestyle.

Helping you lose fat and look great,

Matt :)
