How Do I Know Which Fat Loss Programs Is the
Right One for Me?
There are so many different
kinds of fat loss programs out there... How do you KNOW which
ones work and which ones are crappy?
Well, I believe there are
just two things that absolutely MUST be in the fat loss
program...
- A no frills guide to
quality nutrition and eating habits
- And a well-designed
total body workouts that has a combination of strength
training and variations of cardio
And some of you may be
interested in additional things such as meal plans and email
coaching... Some programs offer those items as
bonuses.
But there are lots of other questions you may have such
as:
Should I Choose a Workout Program that
Incorporates Cardio or Interval Training Workouts?
Well, the truth of the matter
is... there are many different opinions of whether cardio or
interval workouts are best for fat loss.
Here is my take on this...
choose the one that you most feel comfortable
with...
The Second Question You May Ask Is Which
Strength Workout Routines Is Best for Fat Loss?
My take on that subject? It
isn't that important as long as you do them! Bodyweight
exercises, free weight workouts or even machine weight
exercises...
As I said before... there are
lots of opinions and there are many folks showing studies that
support their side of the argument...
But I don't think that really
matters too much so don't sweat the small details so
much...
Just choose an complete fat
loss program that you are comfortable with and STICK WITH
IT!
Don't waffle back and forth
and then say they don't work... the fault then my friend, lies
completely with... YOU!
For me... I used to belong to
a full fledged gym for a couple of years... it had everything!
All kinds of weight machines... mirrors... good smelling
soap... but it was a total waste of my money for several
factors... #1... I didn't know how to gain weight correctly so
all that work and effort lead to zippo... #2... it is easy to
get distracted... talking with with friends... watching pretty
women walk by... driving to and from the gym...
And then I got a Bowflex
machine and used THAT at home for about five years. Same
problem... I didn't know what the hell I was doing... I did a
lot of work but had nothing to show for it...
So I sold that and started doing bodyweight
exercises... from a program called Turbulence Training by
Craig Ballantyne... and TOTALLY
loved it! And if you look at the picture below... Craig
proves that you can get 6 pack abs just with bodyweight
exercises alone... plus following recommended nutritional
habits... of course.

In my opinion... bodyweight
training is MUCH harder than any other workouts. It makes you
stronger and there is more variety to challenge
yourself.
In fact, here is a measuring
test of your fitness level, you should be able to do these
exercises:
 |
50
Pushups |
 |
20 Dips |
 |
15
Pullups |
But again, it is all a matter
of preference. But the important thing is to do the strength
workout routines if you want to get stronger, bigger and lose
body fat.
There is NO other "fast"
weight loss substitute... so forget all those fat loss pills...
body training magazines... the latest "hot" but expensive
supplement that does nothing but make expensive pee... and
those ab machines you see on the late night
commercials...
Conclusion About Which Fat Loss Program to
Choose
If you want to get that
ripped abs and chiseled look... you are going to have to follow
a good nutrition plan and an effective workout routine that
incorporates strength training plus a little healthy heart
training.
Choosing the right program
should be a matter of preference. Don't get all caught up in
the "minor" disagreements what specific workout is BEST. Just
pick a good fat loss program like
Turbulence Training and stick with it.
