If You Hate Crunches... If You Hate Sit
Ups... Then Find Out Why Craig Ballantyne is Telling People to
STOP Doing Them!
Doing another crunch or sit ups is NOT necessary EVEN if you
want a flat stomach or six pack abs.
In my professional opinion... abdominal crunches are
useless, ineffective and for some folks... damaging to your
spine. That's right! Damaging to your spine...
In fact, Dr. Stuart McGill covered this subject in his book,
"Ultimate Low Back Fitness & Performance." The conclusion
from his research scared the heck out of me. So if you are one
of those gym rats who prefers to spend thirty minutes on
abdominal crunching type exercises... prepared to be
SHOCKED!
For myself... I found out about how useless crunches and sit
ups are the hard way... spending 10 minutes a day back in my
third year of University, and guess what? They did absolutely
nothing for my abs!
However, that same year, I accidentally discovered interval
training and total body abdominal exercises. At last, I found
the training secrets that helped me transform my torso from a
regular fit college-aged guy into a cover-model six pack abs
worthy.
(Matt's notes: Be sure to check out Craig
Ballantyne's six pack
abs and see for yourself that by just
doing the effective bodyweight exercises, interval training
along with following good nutritional habits... SEE? You CAN
get six pack abs)
But, back to Craig's article...
No Sit Ups... No Crunches... No
Kidding!
So let's focus on the total body abdominal exercises to help
you build a better looking torso while maintaining your healthy
lower back...
For the beginners... the three exercises you must master are
called, "The Plank," "The Side Plank," and "The Bird dog." Now,
I am going to be blunt here... these abdominal exercises aren't
the most exciting moves in the world but they will get the job
done for you. In fact, those three exercises would kick the
butts of any sit ups or crunches you can do.
But for the intermediate level of fitness and strength...
you will graduate to abdominal exercises such as the "Mountain
Climbers," "Plank with your forearms on the stability ball,"
and "Stability Ball Jackknives." There are also several
advanced push ups exercises that will also work your abs MUCH
better than crunches ever could!
Matt here again... I found a great stability ball at Walmart
for less than $20 USD. It doesn't cost much but using it in
conjunction with Craig's full -
But I won't stop there... when you reach the advanced level
of fitness... I will show you the "Cross-Body Mountain
Climbers," "Chin Ups with Knee Ups," and :Stability Ball
Rollouts."
Please welcome... to the new era of CRUNCH Less abdominal
workouts.
